International Straw Free Day

This day raises awareness about the environmental impact of single-use plastic straws and encourages individuals and businesses to reduce their use. Plastic straws are a major source of plastic pollution, as they are often used for a short period of time and then discarded, ending up in oceans and harming marine life. During International Straw Free Day, individuals, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to pledge to reduce their use of plastic straws and to promote sustainable alternatives such as paper straws or reusable metal or glass straws. We are partnering with environmental organisations like SEE Turtles, Plastic Fisher, and Sungai Watch in order to clean rivers and oceans.
