World bee day

World Bee Day is an annual event celebrated on May 20th to raise awareness about the importance of bees and the need to protect them. It was established by the United Nations in 2017 to recognize the importance of bees for the ecosystem and food security and to raise awareness of the threats they face. We tend to forget how some species are incredibly essential for humans. Becoming aware of what our planet has to offer and the damage we are making to it is the first step to becoming a change-maker.
